About

Dr. Tran (soon to be Dr. Alina Wolf) was born and raised in Oklahoma to a loving and supportive family. She had an early passion for medicine with a desire to help others. She went on to earn an undergraduate degree with a major in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Psychology at the University of Oklahoma. Before beginning podiatric medical school at Midwestern University in Arizona, she took the time to travel internationally, immersing herself in diverse cultures and gaining life experiences that helped shape her perspective on patient care and the importance of balance and well-being.

She is currently at her podiatric medical residency at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas California, where she is training extensively under both innovative podiatric surgeons and well-renowned trauma orthopedic surgeons. This dual training is providing her with a strong foundation in advanced surgical techniques and comprehensive foot and ankle care.

Dr. Tran is known for her attention to detail, thorough approach, and compassionate bedside manner. She values building lasting relationships with her patients based on trust and open communication, and tailoring care to each patient’s individual needs. “It is rewarding, hearing and seeing patients walk out of the door feeling better and knowing that I could be in their shoes one day, hoping someone will be there to help me when I need it most”.

A strong advocate for the field of podiatry, Dr. Tran is enthusiastic about advancing the profession and is dedicated to a future of teaching and mentoring the next generation of podiatrists. She also remains actively engaged in the latest podiatric research, ensuring her patients benefit from evidence-based treatments and the most current advancements in the field.

Outside of medicine, she continues pursing her ever-long bucket list of places to travel to, acrylic painting, playing pickleball, hiking, camping, and nurturing her growing collection of indoor plants.
